Ghanaian forward Dickson Afoakwa has reacted over his departure at Asante Kotoko SC after two years stint. The winger on Wednesday, was officially informed by the decision taken by giant’s Asante Kotoko SC to terminate his contract.

Dickson joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2021 in a three-year contract but saw just two seasons of his deal.

And upon the return of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, the stay of Dickson is over. His contract was terminated alongside Samuel Boateng, Mohammed Alhassan and Charles Owusu.

Afoakwa took took to his twitter handle to express his delight for the incredible success story the Fabulous club offered him, adding that he would not forget.

“Difficult to find the right words for this. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am so pleased to be part of this incredible success we had together during the last 2 years in good and in bad times never will I forget this. Thank you. Fabulous”

He was a key member of Asante Kotoko SC squad in the 2021-22 league season, when they clinched the league title to mark their 25th league trophy.
