Ghanaian club Ashanti Gold SC secures injunction on BetPawa Premier League 2023-24 season

The Obuasi Oboa Kese has secured court injunction on the commencement of the BetPawa Premier League. Ashanti Gold SC on Monday, September 11, 2023 secured an injunction from High Court of Accra on the league.

The club is seeking to be reinstalled back to the Premiership after two years, disclosing that they’ve been treated unfair with the case of match fixing scandal involving Inter Allies FC, ending 7-0.

With just three days, to the commencement of 2023-24 BetPawa Premier league, Ashanti Gold SC has written to all Premier League Clubs notifying them of the notice of hearing on their quest to injunct the Ghana League.

This action throws the start of the top-flight this weekend in disarray.

The plaintiff and defendant will appear before court on Monday, October 2, 2023 for the hearing at exactly 9:00 am.
