Wiredu’s new deal at the League One side will see him stay until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The versatile player joined Fleetwood in the summer of 2022 from Colchester United where he enjoyed good times.

In his first season with Fleetwood, the Ghanaian started 31 of the 37 league games he featured for the club, scoring one and setting up two others.
