GFA Sets Date for FA Cup Round of 32 Draw

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the draw for the Round of 32 of the MTN FA Cup will be held on Thursday, December 19, at 11:00 AM.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the GFA Secretariat’s Conference Room in Accra.

A total of 32 teams, drawn from the Premier League, Division One, and Division Two, will discover their opponents as they prepare for the next stage of the prestigious knockout tournament.

The competition has reached an intriguing phase following a thrilling Round of 64, where several underdog sides caused notable upsets. Premier League powerhouses such as Hearts of Oak—record holders in the FA Cup—and their fierce rivals Asante Kotoko will feature prominently, alongside defending champions Nsoatreman FC.

Adding to the excitement, lower-tier teams from Division One and Division Two have also advanced and will look to continue their impressive runs, embodying the tournament’s tradition of unpredictability and drama.
