Former Hearts of Oak SC manager Samuel Boadu appointed Cornerstone FC new head coach
Kumasi Cornerstone Football Club have announced the appointment of Ghanaian gaffer Samuel Boadu as their first team manager.
On Monday, July 24 2023 the lower-tier club made it known after both parties reached agreement to work together. Boadu signed a contract as a stop-gap coach without period.
Club statement reads;
“We are delighted to announce Mr. Samuel Boadu as a stop-gap coach. We are certain that Boadu’s experience and standard of excellence as a tactician will impact Cornerstone Football Club positively as we work assiduously to revive our old glory

Coach Samuel Boadu aside managing Asokwa Deportivo, Medeama SC and Accra Hearts of Oak SC has national team experience having handled Ghana U-20 men’s team.
Cornerstone FC is the oldest existing football club in the Ashanti kingdom, was established in 1931. They are two times FA Cup Champions (1959 & 1965) and 1979 Ghana Telecom Gala Champions.
They also won the 1987 WAFU Championship.
