Robert Addo Sowah after parting ways with Accra Hearts of Oak SC is close to joining bitter rivals Asante Kotoko SC.
The Ghanaian defender has been spotted in Kumasi to seal talks with the Porcupine Warriors having agreed personal talks with the side. He left the Phobians two months ago upon refusing contract extension.
He is a free agent and will be joining Asante Kotoko SC on a free transfer should talks end up successfully.
However, he is expected to sign a three-year contract with the side in the coming days should both parties reach an end.
He was a key member of the Continental Club Masters successes, helping them to win two FA Cup titles and ending their long wait for a Ghana Premier League championship in 2021.
The addition of the center-back, to the Reds squad would not be bad since he has experience in the Ghanaian top-flight.
