Ghanaian youngster Listowel Amankona have completed a sensational move to Egyptian club Al Masry, upon sealing through with his medicals.
The former Real Tamale United wideman joined the outfit in a long-term contract, after signing a five-year contract following a successful agreement. He, however, signed the deal as a free agent.
Amankona, 18, will have his contract keep him with the Green Eagles until 2028.
Official club statement on Facebook reads; “Al-Masry contracts with the Ghanaian talent to acquire Amankona for five seasons.”
He played in the Ghanaian league for two seasons, with RTU enjoying 46 league appearance. Listowel scored two goals and assisted twice during this period.
He has, already been presented to his new teammates and is expected to resume for preseason in the coming days ahead of new season.
