Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has called on his players to align more closely with the club’s culture and style of play, despite lifting the 2025 Homowo Cup on Sunday.

The Phobians secured victory over Heart of Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium to retain the trophy in the second edition of the annual competition. Goals from Frank Duku and Hamza Issah proved enough to seal the win in front of their home fans.

However, speaking after the game, Didi Dramani stressed that the team must continue to improve beyond just the goals scored.

“Apart from the goals we scored we need to align with our culture and style of play,” the coach said, outlining his desire to see a more complete and consistent performance from his side.

The win adds momentum to Hearts of Oak’s pre-season campaign as they prepare for the upcoming GHALCA top four and the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. With new signings and a refreshed technical approach under Dramani, the Phobians are determined to challenge strongly on all fronts.
