Ghana’s Shaibu Marizuk Clinches Gold in Men’s 200m at African Military Games
Ghanaian sprinter Shaibu Marizuk delivered a stunning performance to win gold in the men’s 200m finals at the ongoing African Military Games in Abuja, Nigeria.
With a remarkable time of 21.22 seconds, Marizuk dominated the race at the M.K.O. Abiola Stadium, leaving spectators in awe of his speed and precision. His victory highlights his relentless dedication to the sport and his status as one of Ghana’s finest athletes.
The race saw Kenya’s Cpl Samuel Check finish second with a time of 21.41 seconds, earning the silver medal, while his compatriot Sgt Mike Mokambe took bronze with a time of 21.84 seconds.
Unfortunately, Marizuk’s teammate, Osei Kofi John, was unable to complete the final due to an injury.
