PHOTOS: Daniel Amartey joins Turkish giants Basiktas

The Black Stars defender, has officially been announced as Basiktas player following a successful agreement. Daniel Amartey joins Besiktas on a three-year deal.

The defender moves to the Turkish top-flight after a seven-year spell in England with Leicester City, where he won the Premiership title and FA Cup.

The Turkish giants Besiktas finalized the signing of the center-back as they prepare for the 2023-24 season.

Following his arrival in Turkey on Friday, Amartey successfully underwent all mandatory procedures, including a medical examination, and has now become Basiktas defender.

He now joins compatriot and Black Stars teammate Alexander Djiku who has also joined the Turkish top-flight from Strasbourg. Now Fenerbahçe player after signing a three-year contract.
