Reacting to his call-up, Agyei shared his excitement and determination to make the most of the opportunity.

“It’s a massive honour to be called up to the Ghana national team. As a player you always dream of representing your country at this level, so to finally get the opportunity means everything to me, and I’m ready to do my all for the shirt,” Agyei said.

The 28-year-old has earned recognition following his performances in the Turkish top flight, where he has scored four goals in 22 league appearances this season

The friendlies will serve as a crucial test for Ghana ahead of the World Cup, where they have been drawn into a challenging group alongside England national football team, Croatia national football team, and Panama national football team.
