Ghana vs. Chad: Fans to Purchase Tickets at Stadium as E-Ticketing Is Temporarily Dropped

Supporters attending Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium will need to buy their tickets at the venue, as e-ticketing will not be used for the match.

Although Ghana has adopted e-ticketing for Black Stars games in recent years, challenges such as internet connectivity issues, fraud risks, refund difficulties, and concerns from local resellers have prompted a temporary return to physical ticket sales.

The decision follows technical difficulties encountered during Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Niger, where several fans faced issues accessing the stadium due to problems with the e-ticketing system.

However, authorities have assured that e-ticketing will return for subsequent matches.
