Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah Urges Black Queens to Finish Strong Against Egypt
Black Queens forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has called on her teammates to stay focused and complete their WAFCON qualifying mission against Egypt in emphatic fashion, despite the turbulence that surrounded their preparations in Accra.
Speaking ahead of the match, Boye-Hlorkah, who plies her trade with Nottingham Forest Women in England, took to social media to rally her teammates for a strong finish.
“First half completed 3-0. Let’s go again and get the job done,” she posted.
The 28-year-old forward is set to feature in her first-ever home game for the Black Queens, adding a personal touch of excitement to the encounter.
Ghana heads into the second leg with a commanding 3-0 advantage from the first leg in Ismailia, where Doris Boaduwaa, Mary Amponsah, and Grace Asantewaa found the net.
A positive result on Tuesday will seal the Black Queens’ qualification for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco and bring an uplifting end to what has been a turbulent week for the team.
