Dreams FC after booking themselves up to the next stage of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup tournament, will face Sierra Leone club FC Khallon. The Still Believe side secured ticket to this stage on Sunday following a sweet victory over Guinean club Milo FC De Kankan.

The Dawu-based outfit were strong enough to share spoils with Milo FC in the first leg played in Conakry, picking a 1-1 draw before hosting them in the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Despite, Dreams FC conceding first goal in the first department rallied from behind to beat Milo FC 2-1. Scoring twice in the second department to grab a deserving win with Agyenim Boateng netting the equalizer from a penalty spot before most experienced forward John Antwi registered the winner late inside the half.

The 2022-23 MTN FA Cup Champions are making their debut appearance in the CAF Inter-Club competition but has defied odds to advance to the next stage and would now face FC Khallon in the second preliminary stage.

FC Khallon had a walkover against Nigerien giants AS Douanes due to the current political unrest in the West African country.

The Believers will host the first leg in Accra on September 15, before they travel for the return leg in Free Town on September 29, 2023.
