Bechem United will square off against Hearts of Oak at the Nana Gyeabour Park in a rescheduled Ghana Premier League fixture, which was initially postponed in February following the unfortunate passing of Asante Kotoko supporter Nana Pooley.

The home side heads into this encounter in fine form, particularly in defense, having kept an impressive ten consecutive clean sheets at their home ground. Their latest triumph over Vision FC last weekend has further boosted their confidence as they look to extend their strong run.

Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, will be without goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who is currently on international duty with the Black Stars for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The Phobians suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC in their last outing but will take inspiration from their 2-0 victory over Bechem United earlier this season.

Historically, encounters between these two sides have been closely contested. Since May 2022, Hearts of Oak have won three times, while Bechem United have secured two victories, with one match ending in a draw.

Bechem United have been slightly more prolific in front of goal, scoring 21 times while conceding 14, whereas Hearts of Oak have netted 19 goals and conceded 11.

With both sides evenly matched, this game promises to be a fiercely contested battle as they aim to strengthen their positions in the league standings.
