Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has announced a strong 20-man squad for the highly anticipated Matchday 30 clash against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak, scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors head into the Super Clash with renewed confidence after a crucial 1-0 victory over Aduana FC last weekend, which ended a four-match winless streak. With 50 points from 29 matches, Kotoko sit fourth on the Ghana Premier League table, just three points behind league leaders Bibiani GoldStars.

Karim Zito, who took over in April, is eyeing back-to-back victories as Kotoko push to re-enter the title race. “We know the importance of this game. It’s not just about three points; it’s about pride, momentum, and our title aspirations. We are ready,” the coach said.

The squad sees the return of Joseph Ablorh, who has been sidelined for much of the season but is now fit and available for selection. No major injury concerns have been reported ahead of the fixture.

Despite being winless in their last five away matches (three draws and two losses), Kotoko remain one of the league’s top attacking teams, with 29 goals scored and 21 conceded this season.
