Remo Stars FC will on Sunday afternoon host Ghanaian champions Medeama SC in the second leg tie of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League game.

The first leg which was played in Cape Coast last week, ended 1-0 in favour of Medeama SC, courtesy Jonathan Sowah’s 21st minute long range goal. The match scheduled for Sunday, 27th August 2023 will see continual football return to Ogun State barely a year after it hosted the first in over 30years with kickoff at 4PM in Nigeria time.

A 2-0 win for the Remoland side will ensure that they advance to the next round of Africa’s top club football competition.

Speaks on the team’s readiness for the epic encounter, Daniel Ogunmodede said at the press conference that they just want to qualify to the next stage of the competition.

Progression for Remo Stars mean they would face Horoya AC of Guinea in the next round of qualifiers.
