23-year-old Kudus made his first appearance at home for West Ham United on Saturday afternoon at the London Stadium but could not inspire his outfit to annex atleast a point.

The Hammers lost to reigning Premier league champions, Manchester City FC 3-1 despite taking the lead before the 35th minute. Sensational James Ward-Prowse netted the opener for the host but return to suffer defeat at the hands of the Sky Blues.

Jeremy Doku leveled for the visitors few minutes after recess before Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland sailed it through with goal each.

Ghana international Mohammed Kudus came on from the bench for his West Ham home debut in the second half and saw 24 minutes of action. He replaced Michail Antonio in the 66th minute mark.

He was deployed to play as a right winger which he exhibited some wonderful performance.

The left-footed attacker joined the Hammers in the summer transfer from AFC Ajax Amsterdam and made his debut against Luton Town.
