MTN FA Cup: Ibrahim Tanko Warns Medeama Not to Underestimate Attram de Visser
Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, has stressed that his side will treat their upcoming quarterfinal clash in the MTN FA Cup with utmost seriousness.
The Tarkwa-based club is set to face Attram De Visser FC at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday as both teams battle for a place in the semifinals of the prestigious domestic competition.
Despite Medeama’s top-flight experience, Tanko has cautioned his players against underestimating their opponents, noting that Attram de Visser have shown strong form in the tournament.
The former Ghana international also revealed his familiarity with Attram de Visser’s setup, acknowledging the relationship he shares with the club’s technical leadership.
“No, I think like any other game and Attram de Visser is a very good team and Attram is my friend. We work together with the U23 and I don’t think we have to take the game lightly because and like I said we want to go to the next round so definitely we are approaching the game with all seriousness,” he told Medi TV.
Medeama will rely on their experience in high-stakes matches as they aim to overcome the challenge and move closer to lifting the FA Cup this season.
