West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui has confirmed that Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus is ready to rejoin the squad for their Premier League clash against Leicester City on Tuesday, December 3.

The 24-year-old Black Stars player has been absent since West Ham’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last month. In that match, Kudus was shown a red card following an altercation and was later handed a five-match suspension for misconduct.

Having completed his suspension, Kudus is now available for selection. Lopetegui expressed his excitement about the forward’s return, emphasizing his readiness and the boost his availability brings to the team.

“Let’s see what’s going to happen with [Mohammed Kudus]. We’re not going to talk about the line-up. It’s true that he’s now available after being out for a long time, too. He’s ready, working well, and happy to be back, which is good news for us because we have a lot of upcoming matches in a row. It’s a good thing we have as many options as possible for these games,” Lopetegui stated.

The Ghanaian forward has already made a significant impact since joining West Ham earlier in the season, scoring key goals and delivering standout performances in both domestic and European competitions.
