Medeama SC to play ASKO de Kara in friendly Sunday

Ghanaian domestic champions, Medeama SC will battle with Togolese side ASKO de Kara in a friendly encounter this weekend at Cape Coast Stadium.

As part of getting the team in good sharp for their Africa campaign new season, has lineup several friendlies for the team, of which ASKO de Kara is one of the opponents.

Encounter is slated for August 6, 2023 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Medeama SC is expected to access the team with this exercise as they embark on their journey to 2023-24 CAF Champions League having already been drawn into the preliminary stage.

The Mauves and Yellow outfit, clinched their first-ever Ghana Premier League last season after dispatching Tamale City FC 3-0 in the last fixture of the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League season. By virtue of that, qualifies to represent Ghana in Africa.

Meanwhile, the Tarkwa-based outfit have been drawn to face Nigerian side Remo Stars Sports Club in August 18-20, 2023.

The outfit despite losing some players including Ibrahim Yaro has made likewise good signings to strengthen the team for their campaign.
