Medeama SC reacts to CAF Champions League draw with Remo Stars Sports Club

Ghanaian domestic champions, Medeama SC have reacted to their CAF Champions League draw against Remo Stars Sports Club.

Medeama has been drawn against Nigerian club Remo Stars for the preliminary round of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League. On Tuesday, the draw for the qualified teams were held, at their headquarters in Cairo. The Mauves and Yellow has been paired with Nigerian outfit Remo Stars Sports Club as they aim to advance to next stage of the competition.

With the first leg scheduled for Ghana, precisely the home venue of Medeama SC will host Remo Stars Sports Club innAugust 18-20, 2023.

Medeama SC is making their first attempt at the Champions league following their success story in the Ghana Premier League but has twice made appearances at the CAF Confederation on the ticket of MTN FA Cup.

Meanwhile,  Egypt’s side Al Ahly are current holders of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
