President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has addressed growing concerns over the lack of a headline sponsor and official broadcast partner for the Ghana Premier League, assuring stakeholders that solutions are on the horizon.

Speaking in an interview on Metro TV, the GFA boss acknowledged the mounting pressure from clubs, media pundits, and fans but urged patience as the Association finalizes plans.

“In the next few days the GFA will be making announcement on the way forward,” Okraku revealed. “I occupy the space as the President of the FA. I have come to this space to lead the governance. It gives independence to various arms. It’s the responsibility of clubs to be competitive. If I were a superior being, I should be ensuring my teams stay afloat, but they are relegated.”

Okraku’s remarks come amid growing frustration in the Ghanaian football community. Clubs have cited financial challenges due to the absence of a major league sponsor, while fans have bemoaned the lack of live television coverage, which has reduced access and visibility of league matches.
