Head coach of Bechem United FC, Kobina Amissah, says his side must do everything possible to defeat Asante Kotoko SC in their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter.

The Hunters are preparing for a crucial Week 33 fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park as they continue their fight to secure their top-flight status for next season.

With only two games remaining in the campaign, Bechem United currently occupy 10th place on the league table with 44 points — just three points above the relegation zone.

That situation has increased the significance of Sunday’s clash, with Amissah insisting his team cannot afford to drop points at home.

“We can’t afford to lose at home. Looking at how the league is going, we can’t just lose at home like that,” Amissah told Bechem United TV.

The experienced coach admitted that while predicting the final score may be difficult, the team’s main focus remains securing all three points against the Porcupine Warriors.

“We can get the win [against Kotoko], but we cannot imagine the score line. What is important right now is that we should be able to get the three points,” he added.

Bechem United will enter the encounter aware that any slip-up in their remaining fixtures could drag them deeper into the relegation battle as the season reaches its final stages.

Kick-off for Sunday’s highly anticipated match is scheduled for 3:00 PM at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
