GFA Introduces Happy Hour Project to Enhance Ghana Premier League Matchday Experience

Spread the love

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled the Happy Hour Project, a new initiative designed to bring the Ghana Premier League closer to fans by enhancing matchday entertainment in selected cities.

As part of a pilot phase, the project is being rolled out in Tarkwa, Kumasi, Accra, and Dormaa, focusing on improving the atmosphere at four key venues: Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Tarkwa T&A Stadium, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, and the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The initiative aims to create a more engaging experience for supporters by incorporating music, pre-match activities, and a vibrant stadium atmosphere. A special Happy Hour Zone will allow fans to enter a designated section of the stadium for free from gate opening until 90 minutes before kickoff. During this period, spectators can enjoy live entertainment and curtain-raiser matches before the main game.

The GFA sees the Happy Hour Project as part of a broader strategy to boost fan engagement and excitement around the Ghana Premier League, ensuring that matchdays are not just about football but a complete entertainment package for supporters.
