The popular tournament played in Ghana as off season tournament purposely meant for clubs to put their teams in good sharp, GHALCA top 4 has been cancelled.

In a communique sited by Nkrataasem.com on Friday, July 28 2023 confirmed the decision taken by the organising body of the tournament, Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).

GHALCA scheduled to begin the tournament on 6th August 2023 and end 13th August, 2023 with Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium hosting it. But, no more.

The one-week long competition would have seen 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League champions Medeama SC, Bechem United and Aduana Stars join Asante Kotoko SC for the off season competition.

Statement from GHALCA reads;

“We regret to announce the cancellation of this year’s @ghalca top 4 tournament due to circumstances beyond our control

The decision has been communicated to the participating clubs”

“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted”.
