Former Hearts of Oak trainer, Samuel Boadu, has sent an emotional farewell message to the club following his sack on Tuesday.

The Phobians parted ways with their coach after 18 months in charge where he led them to a first Ghana Premier League title in 15 years, two FA Cup wins and a President’s Cup trophy.

But after a poor start to the 2022/23 season where they failed to win their opening 3 games, the Phobians decided it was time to let go of the former Medeama coach.

Nearly 24 hours after leaving the club, Boadu took to twitter to express his gratitude to the Phobian family.

“To a club and supporters I call family, to a chair I called father, to a mgt I called brothers and to players I called friends ..Tnx for the glorious moments we shared together…I am glad we won together and achieved the unimaginable in 2 years …see you around soon , Phobiaaaa”
