Jonathan Sowah makes Black Stars debut with an assist

The 24-year-old Ghanaian striker, made his debut for the Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday as Ghana walloped Liberia in international friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Jonathan Sowah climbed off the bench to make his mark in the Red shirt, after Chris Hughton opted to start Antoine Semenyo in a 5-2-3 formation.

The Medeama SC striker was introduced in the 80th minute by replacing Baba Iddrisu. He wasted no time to announce his presence on the field to provide an assist for Ghana’s 3rd goal in the 83rd minute.

It was his first touch of the game, as he lied down a wonderful assist to Jordan Ayew who slotted it by placing the icing on the cake.

His debut was colored with an assist, as Ghana won 3-1.
