Ghana international Jennifer Cudjoe has completed a move to Brooklyn Football Club ahead of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season in the United States.

The 31-year-old midfielder was officially unveiled by the club on Wednesday, November 5, just a week after helping the Black Queens secure qualification for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Cudjoe joins Brooklyn FC from DC Power United, where she spent the 2024/25 season. Her transfer is subject to final league and federation approval.

Brooklyn FC’s sporting director, Kevin Tenjo, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, emphasizing the midfielder’s experience and leadership qualities.

“Jennifer is an experienced player and a true leader. Her composure, professionalism, and passion for the game will make a huge impact on our group,” Tenjo said.

Reacting to her move, the former Hasaacas Ladies star shared her enthusiasm about joining the ambitious project at Brooklyn FC.

“Brooklyn is building something truly new and ambitious in American soccer, and I’m excited to be part of it,” Jennifer said.

Cudjoe could make her debut for her new club on November 8, when Brooklyn FC hosts her former side DC Power United at Maimonides Park.

A vital figure in Ghana’s women’s football setup, Jennifer Cudjoe was instrumental in the Black Queens’ bronze medal win at the 2024 WAFCON in Morocco, where Ghana defeated South Africa on penalties. She also contributed two assists in the team’s 7-0 aggregate triumph over Egypt during the 2026 WAFCON qualifiers.

Her addition is expected to strengthen Brooklyn FC’s midfield as they aim to make a strong impression in their Gainbridge Super League campaign.
