The former Premier league champions are without head coach after parting ways with Slavko Matic from Serbia. Assistant coach David Ocloo has also left his role.

Hearts of Oak SC currently, is in search for a coaching since their position is vacant. Former Asante Kotoko SC and Black Queens boss Bashir Hayford has expressed his eagerness to take over the role.

“Why not? I am ever ready if only they see me as a helper”, he told Mothers FM.

“Look at my pedigree. I don’t know the team that will be difficult for me to coach if given the opportunity. For now, they won’t advertise for you to apply but I am ever ready if only they see me as a helper.”

Accra Hearts of Oak SC meanwhile, finished the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League 12th position with 46 points.
