“I won’t blame Otto Addo”- Bismark Kobby Mensah

Former Karela United coach Bismark Kobby Mensah has called for a collective examination of the issues surrounding the Black Stars’ recent challenges, emphasizing that no single individual, including former head coach Otto Addo, should bear the blame.

The comments come in the wake of the failure of the Black Stars to qualify for the African Cup of Nations slated for Morocco next year.

While some have pointed fingers at the coaching staff, Bismark Kobby Mensah believes there are other factors that contributed to Ghana’s inability to qualify for the AFCON.

“As a Ghanaian who has followed the Black Stars, I wouldn’t want to blame Otto Addo because there are a lot of things surrounding the team. If we do not get the right results, I think we need to blame everyone associated with the Black Stars, not only Otto Addo.” He told Asempa FM.

The Black Stars will now shift their focus to the World Cup qualifying campaign.
