GPL: Ogum assures fans of win against Bechem United
Gaffer for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has assured fans of his club of bouncing back to winning ways despite recent setbacks.
The Porcupine Warriors have lost their last two games in the Premier League resulting in fans of the club not being happy at the proceedings at the club. Kotoko lost 2-1 to Legon Cities and lost 1-0 at home against Heart of Lions.
Speaking ahead of their away fixture against Bechem United this weekend, Prosper Ogum has revealed everyone at the club are not happy with the results.
“I’m worried, very concerned about it [our form]. The whole technical team and the players, everyone is worried. Nobody is happy because we started the league well, and we didn’t expect to find ourselves in this situation.” He said.
He added that he knows the fans have been disappointed but he has assured them of good results.
“We all feel the pain and emotions of the fans, especially me. They expected more from us, and we were delivering before this sudden downturn. We want to assure them that we are putting the house in order. We are regrouping, and we will ensure we return stronger and play beautiful football.” He assured.
Asante Kotoko are third on the GPL table with 15 points and will face Bechem United on Sunday.
