GPL: Nominees for Coach of the Month Award for October Revealed
Following an impressive run of form in the Ghana Premier League in October, four coaches have been nominated for the Coach of the Month Award.
The coaches are Cioba Aristica of Aduana Stars, Ibrahim Tanko of Medeama SC, FC Samartex’s Christoher Ennin and Abdul Henan Abu of Young Apostles.
Aristica enjoyed a standout month, guiding the Ogya Boys to three wins in four matches, with just one defeat. His side scored five goals and conceded only two, maintaining one of the best defensive records in the division during the period.
Tanko Ibrahim led Medeama SC to an unbeaten run, collecting three wins and one draw, while his team netted six goals and conceded three.
At FC Samartex, Christopher Ennin also oversaw an undefeated month with three victories and one draw, recording six goals for and just two against, giving him the best defensive record among the contenders.
Meanwhile, Young Apostles’ Abdul Henan Abu impressed in his debut top-flight season, guiding his side to two wins and one draw in three matches. His team found the back of the net four times and conceded just once.
The announcement of the winner is expected in the coming days as the Ghana Premier League continues to heat up with competitive performances from clubs and coaches alike.
