GFA Debunks Rumors of Sending 200 Supporters to Angola
Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has addressed recent rumors claiming that over 200 supporters were sent abroad by the organization, calling the reports false and misleading.
The Black Stars of Ghana will lock horns with Angola at the Estádio 11 de Novembro on Friday 15th November 2024.
Henry Asante Twum, clarified the situation, emphasizing that the association has not arranged or funded the travel of such a large number of fans.
“Rumors are circulating that we sent over 200 supporters, but these are false and must be stopped. I think is unfair. Only five people followed the team to Angola. The team including officials are less than 100 people.” He told Asempa FM.
Currently, Ghana sits third in Group F with two points from four matches, trailing Angola and Sudan.
