Gregory De Grauwe and Kris Perquy join Black Stars technical team

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced key additions to the Black Stars’ technical team, aiming to enhance the squad’s mental, analytical, and operational capacities ahead of major competitions.

Kris Perquy, a seasoned sports psychologist with 17 years of experience, joins the team to boost players’ mental preparedness.

Perquy has an impressive resume, having worked with the Belgian Football Association and several top-tier clubs in Belgium, where he developed effective mental strategies to optimize performance.

To sharpen the team’s tactical approach, Belgian video analyst Gregory De Grauwe has been appointed to provide in-depth match analysis.

De Grauwe, who holds a UEFA B Coaching License and a bachelor’s degree in physical education, brings valuable experience from his time with clubs like Sporting Lokeren and K. Beerschot VA.

His expertise will be instrumental in breaking down opponents’ strategies and refining the Black Stars’ game plans.

The GFA has also bolstered the team’s logistical operations by appointing two seasoned equipment officers, Issah Amadu and Abdul Rahman Alhassan.
