The former Ghana youth player despite his debut season in the Chinese top-flight, excelled with huge statistics and team performance. After joining SL Benfica Macau from Assalam FC in February 2023, he managed to adapt to the culture and change in environment to hit the ground running.

Daniel Adade, known of goal scoring during his days at Ghanaian club Dreams FC, Assalam FC and Lalenok United once again counted on his strength, power and agility to bang in important goals to push SL Benfica Macau up the log, though they lost the title race.

The deadly striker joined the five-time champions of Chinese Liga de Elite on a free transfer after parting ways with Assalam FC in January.

He lead SL Benfica Macau to finish in the Chinese Liga de Elite with six points adrift Chao Pak Kei after helping them amass 40 points.

Adade ended the swap as third topscorer of the top-flight with 14 goals having made 24 appearance in all competitions.

The 28-year old inspired his outfit to the Chinese Macau FA Cup final but lost 4-2 to CD Monte Carlo on penalties after an exciting 2-2 draw during duration period and extra time. 

Nevertheless, took home a deserving runners-up medal.
