Flitz Marcus Schmid has earned his maiden individual accolade in the Ghana Premier League after being named Coach of the Month following an outstanding spell with Bibiani Gold Stars F.C..
The Swiss trainer edged out strong competition from Nurudeen Amadu of Karela United F.C., Mas-Ud Didi Dramani of Accra Hearts of Oak S.C., and Nana Kweku Agyemang of Vision FC to secure the recognition.
Schmid’s award comes on the back of a flawless run during the review period, where his side recorded three victories from three matches.
That impressive sequence has propelled Bibiani Gold Stars into second position on the league table, just a point off the summit, as they continue to emerge as genuine contenders in the title race.
Since taking over earlier in the campaign, Schmid has steadily instilled discipline and tactical structure within the squad, with results now reflecting the team’s upward trajectory.
