Emmanuel Kobi has been recognised for his outstanding performances between the posts after clinching the Goalkeeper of the Month award for February, presented by the Ex-Goalkeepers Union of Ghana.

The Bibiani Gold Stars F.C. shot-stopper emerged top ahead of strong contenders including Benjamin Asare of Accra Hearts of Oak S.C., Prince Osei of Aduana FC, and Musah Zakari of FC Samartex 1996, who picked up the honour in January.

Kobi’s award follows a run of commanding performances that proved vital to his club’s success during the period under review. The goalkeeper delivered a series of crucial saves and maintained a strong presence at the back, helping his side to a flawless run of results.

He recorded two clean sheets and conceded just a single goal across three matches, as Bibiani Gold Stars secured three consecutive victories to remain unbeaten.

His consistency and composure have been central to the team’s defensive solidity, further underlining his growing influence as one of the standout performers in the Ghana Premier League.
