In a preparation match on Tuesday afternoon, Dreams FC secured an emphatic win over Premier league entrants Hearts of Lions.
Dreams FC who will be representing Ghana in the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup, squared off with Division One League Zone Three champions Kpando Hearts of Lions in a club friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium, amassing a win with a cleansheet.
The Dawu-based outfit gave a masterpiece of football to win 3-0.
New signing John Antwi has already hit the grounds running with marvelous and eye-catching goals. He scored a brace then Gael Aholou with the other, ensuring they continue preparation with a strong and reliable back line.
Dreams FC is bent on making a good account of themselves, in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup. The Still Believe side is making their debut campaign in Africa and is aiming to advance to the second preliminary round even if not for nothing, to sell the club’s prospect.
The Still Believe lads are in the final leg of preparations ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game against Milo FC of Guinea in the first preliminary round.
Game against Milo FC is scheduled for August 27, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
As part of their preparations, played Black Galaxies but lost by a narrow 1-0 scoreline, beat FC Samartex 2-0 with goals coming from Ali Huzaif and Gael Aholou.
