Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has expressed disappointment with his team’s 1-0 loss to Asante Kotoko in Sunday’s highly anticipated Super Clash, insisting that the result did not truly reflect their performance.

The Phobians suffered their first defeat of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season in the Week 9 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Morifing Donzo’s first-half strike proving decisive for the visitors.

Despite the setback, Dramani believes his side played well enough to earn at least a point from the encounter.

“We lost. I think we didn’t deserve to lose, in my opinion, and everyone who observed the game, not just watching. We didn’t do well in some areas, and we need to improve,” he said in his post-match interview.

The defeat saw the Phobians drop to fifth place in the league table after nine matches, ending their unbeaten run, while Kotoko’s victory extended their record as the only unbeaten team in the 2025/26 campaign.

Dramani and his men will aim to bounce back strongly when they face Dreams FC in their next Ghana Premier League fixture as they continue their quest to reclaim the domestic title.
