Aduana Stars FC have reached agreement to appoint Ghanaian tactician Samuel Boadu as their new head coach.

Nkrataasem.com can confirmed both parties have held talks over the vacant coaching role at the club, with agreement reached. The two-time Ghana Premier League champions are without first team coach, following the departure of Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin.

The former Asante Kotoko SC and national U-17 trainer Fabin abandoned his position at Aduana Stars FC at the end of 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League following the expiration of his one-year contract.

Aduana Stars FC strongly believe Boadu has vast experience in the domestic league to manage the outfit in the upcoming Premier league season. Both parties have agreed on a two-year contract, with deal to be signed later this week before official announcement.

Boadu before this deal was unattached after getting sacked as Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach in the 2022-23 season. He was fired following a poor performance in the league having played just five matches.

He won the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title for the Phobians as well as MTN FA same season before clinching the President Cup and Super Cup.

Currently, he is the national U-20 men’s trainer.

Previously, he managed Asokwa Deportivo and Medeama SC before landing job with giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
