Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso lead his outfit Bofoakwa Tano FC to the Capital, picking a point against Accra Great Olympics FC in the 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League matchday one fixture.

The Premier League returnees, held the Oly Dade lads to a goalless draw and has expressed his satisfaction over performance of players and results though admit was a difficult game.

In an interview with StarTimes after the encounter, the former Asante Kotoko SC gaffer said holding his opponent to avoid a defeat away from home is a good one and he is satisfied.

“For me I think it is a good result. You know, coming to Accra and playing against Olympics, what initially we tried to do was not to concede. So, we were very sure if we don’t win at least we don’t have to concede and then we can get a draw.”

“So, for me, I think it falls within our expectations. So, for me, I think it’s a good result for us.”

Bofoakwa Tano FC will host Real Tamale United in the second week of fixtures.
