Carlos Queiroz Highlights Intense Behind-the-Scenes Work by Black Stars Teachnical Team

Head coach of the Black Stars, Carlos Queiroz has praised the dedication and professionalism of the technical team working with the Ghana national football team, revealing the extensive efforts undertaken behind the scenes over the past month.

In a message shared, the experienced tactician outlined the level of preparation and monitoring carried out by the national team staff between April 11 and May 11 as part of efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

According to Queiroz, the technical department completed 200 individual video compact reports while also analysing 170 matches through live monitoring. He added that the staff conducted 30 live match observations and kept 75 players under continuous and systematic scouting observation.

The former Portugal  coach further disclosed that 30 players were placed under direct live observation, with the staff also carrying out detailed technical and fitness performance analysis alongside comprehensive medical assessments and monitoring.

“Behind every future success, there is invisible work, sacrifice, discipline, and countless hours of commitment,” Queiroz stated in the message.

He commended the professionalism, loyalty, and tireless effort shown by members of the technical team, stressing that building a successful national side requires dedication, competence, attention to detail, and responsibility on a daily basis.

“The dream of a National Team is built every single day — through dedication, competence, attention to detail, passion, and responsibility,” he added.

The Black Stars have bee housed in the same group with Panama, Croatia and England for the 2026 World Cup.
