Black Stars Players Urged to Change Attitude and Prioritize National Duty
Former Black Stars player, Stephen Frimpong Manso has asked the players to change their attitude towards national team duties.
The Black Stars are currently third in Group F of the AFCON qualifiers with just 2 points after four games and are on the verge of not qualifying if they don’t win even one of the games remaining.
Gaffer for Bibiani Goldstars, Frimpong Manso believes the AFCON hopes is over but the players must turn on a new leaf for the World Cup Qualifiers.
“Black Stars need a change of attitude. As it stands, chances of qualifying for the AFCON are over but they will need to change their attitude ahead of the World Cup qualifiers. I know some of them are committed but those who are lackadaisical must be dropped because these are the same players who play for the World Cup qualifiers.” He told Asempa FM.
Ghana will clash with the Palancas Negras of Angola on Friday, November 15 in a penultimate tie of the qualifiers, before concluding their campaign against Niger in Accra on November 18.
