The Black Princesses, Ghana’s U-20 women’s national team, will kick off the new year with a training camp in Bibiani starting January 2, 2025.

The camp is part of their preparation for upcoming international competitions, including the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The camp will feature a phased assessment of players. The first group of invitees is scheduled to report on January 2, while the second group will join on January 6. This structured approach will allow the technical team to evaluate a broad pool of talent and identify players with the potential to strengthen the squad.

The camp will be the first under newly appointed head coach Charles Sampson, who recently succeeded Yusif Basigi. Basigi departed the role to take up a new position as head coach of Tanzanian giants Simba Queens.
