Bashir Hayford Eyes Home Victory as Heart of Lions Prepare for Bechem United Showdown
Head coach of Heart of Lions, Bashir Hayford, has expressed his team’s readiness to secure all three points in their final home match of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season against Bechem United.
The much-anticipated Week 33 fixture is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, June 1, at the Kpando Sports Stadium, where the Lions are hoping to deliver a strong performance in front of their fans.
In a pre-match interview, Coach Hayford emphasized the importance of winning to reward the club’s loyal supporters.
“We are aiming to win our home match to appease our supporters… Sunday is going to be our last home match for the season. Our supporters will be coming in their numbers, so we want to satisfy our supporters by giving them the victory,” he stated.
Hayford praised his squad’s progress and performance throughout the campaign, expressing confidence in their ability to overcome Bechem United.
“When we compare our performance to other clubs, they don’t come near us,” he added, highlighting the belief within his camp.
