Basake Holy Stars head coach Abdulai Gazale has voiced his disappointment following his side’s goalless draw with Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League clash at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

The match, which was eagerly anticipated, saw both teams create several scoring opportunities but failed to capitalize, resulting in a stalemate.

The coach and his players were eager to complete a season double over the Ghanaian giants, but the draw fell short of their aspirations.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Gazale expressed his dissatisfaction with the result but acknowledged his team’s effort.

“I’m disappointed. I was aiming for the three maximum points, but it didn’t happen. The boys did well. I’m satisfied with the way they played, but it’s unfortunate that we couldn’t convert our chances to get the three points,” he remarked.

The team is currently positioned 9th on the Ghana Premier League standings.
