Medeama SC assistant coach Steven Gurah has voiced his concerns regarding the club’s recent dip in form in the Ghana Premier League but remains confident that the team can turn things around.

The Tarkwa-based club has endured a tough stretch, suffering four consecutive away defeats, including a narrow 1-0 loss to Accra Lions at the Legon Sports Stadium. This poor run has seen Medeama SC drop to 7th place on the league table with 26 points, much to the disappointment of fans.

Speaking on the team’s current struggles, Gurah acknowledged the challenges but reassured supporters that the technical team is working tirelessly to address the issues.

“We are working on something to end the run of four games without a win,” Gurah stated. “We like to say we’re dropping, but then I’ll say we have some couple of injuries, and though we have equally good players who can step in, we’re trying to see how best we can fix things up.”

With a history of strong performances in the league, Medeama SC’s fans will be hoping the team can recover quickly and reclaim their place among the top contenders.
