Hearts of Oak assistant coach Nana Yaw Amankwah expressed his frustration after his team failed to secure a win against Basake Holy Stars in their Ghana Premier League clash at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

The match ended in a goalless draw, with both teams squandering clear chances to take the lead. This result marked another missed opportunity for the Phobians to consolidate their position on the league table.

Speaking after the match, Nana Yaw Amankwah lamented his side’s inability to convert their opportunities.

“We missed a lot of chances in the match. We will correct our mistakes for subsequent matches in the league,” Amankwah stated.

Hearts of Oak currently sit 5th on the Ghana Premier League table with 30 points. The team hopes to reignite their title ambitions as the season progresses.
