Asante Kotoko SC has signed Kalo Ouattara on a long-term contract from Premier League rival’s Berekum Chelsea FC.
The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract and has officially been announced by the Premier League record holder’s (25). He spent just a season with the Bibires but made his name a household one.
Kalo scored five goals and assisted five times in his maiden campaign in the Ghanaian top flight with Berekum Chelsea.
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum who is poised to beef his attack just as he did in his first stint said this after finalising the deal;
“Kalo is one for the future and the present. He has all the qualities to thrive at this club and at this level, and we are happy to have him here.”
Ouattara has since joined the playing body at the pre-season camp in Beposo.
